As a 1987 graduate of the UNC School of Dentistry, Dr. Ross received the C.V. Mosby Scholarship Award for being number one in his class. After graduating, Dr. Ross served as a faculty member at the School of Dentistry for one year before entering the Orthodontic Program at UNC. In 1991, upon completion of this program, he returned to Greenville to take over his father’s orthodontic practice.
Dr. Ross is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, the North Carolina Dental Society, East Central Dental Society and the UNC Orthodontic Alumni Association. He is a member of St. James United Methodist Church and has been for over 50 years.
When Dr. Ross isn’t in the office, he enjoys taking mission trips with his church to places such as Kenya and Nicaragua. Dr. Ross loves anything outdoors, especially bicycling and paddleboarding. He even raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for local Boys and Girls Clubs through cross country bicycle rides.
Dr. Ross employs a staff of five full-time and four part-time employees. Together, they bring a combined 170 years of experience in orthodontic care. In fact, several of the staff members have worked at Ross Orthodontics for over 35 years, and have helped three generations of families get their “Ross Orthodontic Smiles.”
To make visiting the orthodontist fun, Dr. Ross and his team provide plenty of activities, including contests, video games and parties. Ross Orthodontics is always an exciting place to visit!
